About Mike Dillon:
Award-winning percussionist Mike Dillon has been destroying percussion, ranting into microphones and touring since 1987.
Combining styles and years of experience, the Mike Dillon Band makes a noise that is TRULY unique. The band released their debut record, "Urn," on Royal Potato Family in 2012, and has mostly been living in a van ever since. MDB has toured with Fishbone, Umphery's McGee, Clutch, Primus and Marco Benevento, among others.
MDB has been touring less in 2015 while Mike has been busy with Primus and the Chocolate Factory playing vibes, marimba, and tabla with the legendary thrash funk trio as they warp the original soundtrack of Willie Wonka.
About Unaka Prong:
Formed in the winter of 2013, Unaka Prong, the genre-bending, improvisational sextet from Boone, NC began writing and performing songs that explore the fringes of individual member influences. For the last four years, Unaka Prong has been tirelessly performing around the region and further building their repertoire. Songs and compositions including tasteful elements of southern rock, folk, funk, R&B, jazz fusion, reggae, and the spaces in-between.
